    Literature Review on Budget Support 5 1 Overview This brief helpdesk query responds to a request to provide a review of the literature on Budget Support (BS), both General Budget Support1 (GBS) and Sector Budget Support2 (SBS) to be used as a tool for development practitioners to assist them in designing and/or managing BS programmes.
